Pricing
Prices are set individually for each rabbit based on several factors, as in age, quality, proven, etc. Trio’s may be discounted at our discretion. Here is the general pricing structure we generally follow, however this may vary by rabbit quality, age, etc:
Show Quality- $60
Evaluated for breed quality and structure, sold with pedigree
Brood Quality - $50
Evaluated for quality and structure, may be a brood or show quality rabbit, sold with pedigree
Meat/Fur Breeder Quality - $30
May be a meat, brood or show quality rabbit, sold without pedigree
Quality and Age
Rabbits sold are healthy and have been evaluated for quality that has been disclosed to the seller. Rabbits are sold as show quality, brood quality and meat breeder quality. Note that ‘show quality’ does not mean that we guarantee they will win at a show, it means they meet the standard for a Silver Fox rabbit set forth by the breed club.
No rabbit is sold younger than 8 weeks old and most are between 12 - 16 weeks. Waiting until a kit is older allows to better evaluate the rabbit and helps us find the rabbit to suit your needs in your breeding program.
We evaluate kits on personality and temperament as well, however we cannot guarantee a rabbit will not become aggressive or a sprayer once transferred to its new home, handled its by new owners, been bred, kindles, or as it matures.
Pedigrees & Tattoos
Show quality and brood quality rabbits are sold with pedigrees and will have an ear number tattooed in the left ear and a pedigree will be digitally sent to the buyer. There is no discount if the buyer does not want the pedigree.
Meat breeder quality rabbits are sold without pedigrees. While they are still from pedigreed stock from show lines, not every rabbit meets the standards. These rabbits are offered as meat breeding rabbits, make excellent breeders for both meat and fur, and excellent pets or 4H and FFA projects.
Waiting List, Deposits, and Holds
We generally have a small waiting list of prospective buyers. We do not accept deposits or pre-payment until a specific rabbit(s) have been selected for a buyer.
Rabbits must be picked up within a reasonable amount of time as arranged between buyer and seller. Rabbits will not be held for more than a week unless prior arrangements are made.
Payment
Payment must be in cash, or PayPal. No checks or money orders accepted.
Release of Liability
When you purchase a rabbit from us, you agree that we are not responsible for any loss or illness after the rabbit leaves our possession. Once the buyer or agent of the buyer has accepted a rabbit in good health, we have no control over the quality of care the rabbit will receive during transport nor how the stress of transport will affect the rabbit even when well cared for.
