- Dan -
Dan is our foundation buck, he is an amazing guy. He has a huge head, very correct structure and a great temperament. He has 1 ARBA show leg. Dan is our senior citizen currently. He is still an active breeding buck, but has slowed down with age. He spends the warmer months living out his retirement in a colony with one of his ladies, where he can dig in the sand and run around a play all day long. Here is Dan today (Spring 2020), and as the years add up he has lost a bit of his overall body condition in his senior years, but even so you can still see his basic frame and his beautiful head and heavy silvering.
Here is Dan cuddling his favorite past colony mate, Blue. He's pretty smitten and happy to get to live up his retirement in style in the big pen.
- Sam -
Sam is a homebred boy out of Dan and Blue. He is a young buck, but is maturing nicely and turning out to be a pretty good sized boy. He has a lot of width from top to bottom, and while he is a tad long he has great width of shoulder, loin and hindquarter, all the way down to his foot. He also is a moderately calm boy with a stable, even temperament.
- LB -
LB is a homebred boy as well. He is our resident Lilac buck. He is the epitome of a perfect buck because he throws kits better than he is. He is not the biggest buck, but has good structure and width for this body size. LB is our tester, to see what colors/genes our does carry, but often throws nice show quality kits.
