- Bug -
Bug is one of our new does from Butternut Farms Rabbitry in Minnesota. She is a lightly silvered calm girl. She did very well with her first litter and produced several very nice show quality kits with Dan. Bug carries one copy of the dilute gene and when paired with the right buck will throw both blue and black kits. Bug is also about the sweetest rabbit ever. She begs for attention like a puppy and will beg until she gets face rubs, neck rubs and ear scratches. No amount is ever enough.
- Bee -
Bee is our other new doe from Butternut Farms Rabbitry in Minnesota. She is very heavily and evenly silvered, with one of the nicest structures on a Silver Fox doe I've seen. She also did very well with her first litter and is an excellent mother. Bee carries one copy of the dilute gene and when paired with the right buck will throw both blue and black kits.- Blue, gone but not forgotten -
Unfortunately we lost Blue this summer (2020). She was our matriarch doe, our best mother and a very sweet rabbit. At over 5 years old, when she passed, her last few months she is enjoyed her retirement in a the colony setup with old man Dan. Blue was a sweet girl that had a very balanced stress free personality. On her final day with us she was actually running outside her pen in the grass exercise yard when she passed, so I know she was quite happy and content when she left us. We were lucky enough to still have the 3 kits from her last (and unexpected) litter, and all 3 are quite nice, so we are keeping them all into adulthood to see what they can produce.
